Dennis played at Morris Knolls from 1992-1996; he was first team All-State, won multiple NJ Devils player of the month awards, MVP of Mennen Cup and MVP of Senior All-Star Game, represented NJ at Chicago Showcase for two years, received the Governor’s Award for most outstanding player, after winning the Garden State Games MVP. Dennis then played at Canterbury Prep. His team won the Prep Cup that year.
At Quinnipiac Dennis played 4 years and earned a BS in Business Management. He then worked for ESPN for 6 years. After entering the New Jersey State Police Academy he was selected by his peers for the Colonels Award as the most outstanding recruit of the 149th Class. Dennis currently holds the rank of Sargent. Dennis is married to Sharyn with four children; Derek, Christopher, Evan and Siena. He plays hockey with the NJSP, which raises money for charities.
