Adam Shemansky ranks as the all-time leading scorer in Notre Dame High School and Colonial Valley Conference (CVC) history. His 278 points (137 goals and 141 assists) places him as the sixth most all-time in state history at the time of his graduation. In Adam’s four years, Notre Dame compiled a 78-20-3 record, won one Mercer County Tournament, and reached the State Quarterfinals three times. During his senior year, he helped Notre Dame beat #1 ranked Saint Peters Prep making Notre Dame the only CVC team ever to beat a team ranked #1 which still stands today. He was named to the CVC 1st-team all four years and was the CVC Player of the Year in 2005, 2006, and 2007.

After graduating, Adam did a postgraduate year at Tilton School in Tilton, New Hampshire as one of the top league scorers. He followed up with a year with the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs where he was named an Eastern Junior Hockey League All-Star. After junior hockey, Adam played Division I at the University of Maine playing 132 games in 4 seasons.

Notre Dame High School inducted Adam into their Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.
Adam resides in Hamilton, NJ with his wife, Ashley, and daughter, Emersyn.
