David Weisman

David Weisman was a three-year standout forward for CBA, one of the premier high school programs in New Jersey during the 1990s. He was a dominant presence on the ice, recognized for his leadership, consistency, and ability to excel in high-pressure moments. His performance in the 1990 Gordon Cup Final remains one of the most memorable in program history, as he recorded five goals and two assists in an 11–1 victory over Brick, earning All-State honors that season. Teammates and coaches consistently relied on him to elevate team performance, and his influence extended beyond the scoresheet through his work ethic and competitive drive.

Following his high school career, Weisman attended Babson College, where he was a four-year letterwinner in both hockey and tennis. On the ice, he contributed to 54 team victories over four seasons and totaled 24 goals and 46 assists for 70 career points. As a sophomore, he recorded 29 points, ranking second on the team in scoring. In addition to his hockey success, Weisman achieved national recognition in tennis, becoming the first player in Babson College history to win the NCAA Singles Championship in 1998. He was inducted into the Babson College Hall of Fame in 2004.

A native of Elberon, NJ, Weisman remains active in athletics and spent many years coaching junior players. He has passed his passion for sports on to his sons, Nash and Cole, who have had success in soccer and baseball. He is a business owner and resides in Sudbury, Massachusetts.
