The 2003 Randolph team had a 24-6-0 record and scored the most goals by any team in RHS history with 135 and let up 59 and played a record 30 games for a single season. Winning the Public School State Championship by defeating Brick Memorial 7-0 in final, this was the first State Championship in hockey team for Randolph High School. The team lost 2-1 in Mennen Cup Final that year to Delbarton and to Bergen Catholic in the Tournament of Champions state final 6-4.

This tremendous group of hard working kids who didn’t have great talent from top to bottom of the line up but made up for it with a work ethic and a desire to win and have fun. They laid the foundation that built Randolph Hockey.

I started playing hockey at four years old. I played most of my youth hockey for the Morris County Colonials and the New Jersey Devils. I was fortunate enough to make the Atlantic District ’85 festival team for four consecutive years which really developed my hockey career.

In 2003, my senior year with Randolph High School, with the help of a great team and coaches we were able to hoist the state championship trophy beating Brick in the Public School State Championship, the team had a 24-6 record. I went on to play a Post Graduate year at Trinity Pawling and then finished my hockey career playing all four years for Suffolk University.

A special thanks to my family, coaches and all the friendships made along the way.

Harvey Boehm coached high school ice hockey for over 28 years and brought success to every program he has led. From 1981-1988, Coach Boehm was head coach of Chatham Borough H.S., his alma mater, guiding the Eskies to the 1987 Division "C" Championship.

From 1988- 1992 Coach Boehm was head coach at Randolph H.S., leading the team to the 1991 Public State Quarterfinals and Mennen Cup Championship which earned him The Star-Ledger 1991 Coach of The Year award.

After arriving at Bayonne High School in 1995 Coach Boehm experienced his greatest success, leading the Bees to the following honors: 1997 National "B" Champions, 1997 & 1999 Public State Final Four, 2000 Public State Champions, 2001 Public State Finalist and 2005 Hoerner Cup Champions.

Defensive prowess, consistency and that canny ability to win have been trademarks of McLaughlin’s Randolph teams for two decades. In his 19th season at the Morris County school this winter, McLaughlin earned his 300th career victory with a victory over Chatham.

A former scholastic standout while playing at Livingston and then at Merrimack College, McLaughlin began his coaching career at Livingston, where he spent two seasons before taking command at Randolph in the 1993-1994 season. Under McLaughlin, Randolph has captured five NJSIAA Public schools championships in nine trips to the final. McLaughlin has also guided Randolph to three Mennen Cup titles during his reign.
